Office Assistant

Small, high-end design firm seeking intelligent and extremely organized Office Assistant. This is a part-time position in San Diego, CA. Candidate must be responsible, self-motivated, detail-oriented, professional and friendly.

Responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing and managing all aspects of the office
  • Managing monthly account and service logs
  • Diligent and accurate financial data entry
  • Administration and management of all office supply ordering / organization of office studio space
  • Responding to contact form emails from prospective clients
  • Coordinating office meetings and staff events
  • A positive, “can-do” attitude is a must
  • Assisting with on-site work as requested

Job requirements:

  • Proficiency in MAC OSX, Pages, Numbers & Google Tools
  • Experience with Quickbooks preferred
  • Previous experience working in the area of design is preferred but not required
  • Professional in appearance and conduct
  • Detail-oriented and extremely organized
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Intelligent, quick learner, honest, reliable and hard working
  • Familiarity with social media (Twitter, Pinterest, Facebook, Instagram, etc.) a plus

Junior Designer

Small, high-end design firm seeking creative, outgoing and professional Junior Designer. This is a part-time position in San Diego, CA. Candidate must be responsible, self-motivated, detail-oriented, professional and friendly.

Responsibilities include:

  • Creating plan and elevation drawings
  • Taking accurate and detailed measurements and on-site inventory assessments
  • Interacting with clients
  • Sourcing fabrics, furnishings and fixtures
  • Project coordination
  • Creating compelling and engaging presentations in a variety of formats

Job requirements:

  • Proficiency in MAC OSX, Pages, Numbers & Google Tools
  • Experience with Rhino and AutoCAD
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite strongly preferred
  • Previous experience working in the area of design
  • Professional in appearance and conduct
  • Detail-oriented and extremely organized

Drafter

Small, high-end design firm seeking experienced and skilled Drafter. This is a contract position in San Diego, CA. Candidate must be responsible, self-motivated, detail-oriented, professional and friendly.

Responsibilities include:

  • Drafting with AutoCAD to develop construction drawings from existing 3D models
  • Create and edit 3D models in AutoCAD and/or Rhino, based on rough sketches from a designer and the project's design parameters.
  • Preparation of presentation materials

Job requirements:

  • Highly developed skills and talent in SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop, AutoCAD and Rhino
  • At least 6 months professional experience as an AutoCAD drafter, preferably in a multi-user environment
  • Excellent attention to detail, as well as strong time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
